Gold Chakra Pendants

Our Collection of Gold Chakra Pendants are hand crafted of copper repousse fused with 24k gold, measure approximately 1" in diameter, and are presented on an 18" 14k gold filled chain.

Each pendant incorporates semi-precious stones according to Vedic tradition with the vibration that is appropriate to the chakra it corresponds to. The amulets are handcrafted in Nepal by the Newari Community in the repousse jewelry making tradition -- A metal working technique where flat sheets of metal are crafted into three dimensional images by using chisels of various shapes and sizes. It is a laborious art form that requires great patience to master and tremendous skill to execute with refinement. The variations in texture and small surface "imperfections" are evidence of the chisel and hammer work and are hallmarks of repousse. Though it is rarely practiced in our contemporary world, within the Newari Community in Nepal it is a tradition that is passed down over generations from father to son.

 

There are many different methods for choosing your chakra pendant - from dowsing and muscle testing, to simply finding personal inspiration in the beauty of a particular design. Often a specific gemstone will resonate more strongly than another. It is one's intuitive connection to the pendant and it's properties of healing and empowerment, which bring about the perfect match. For example, the heart chakra pendant is best for developing strength of compassion and empathy, while the throat pendant is most useful for overcoming fear and finding the inner voice.
